Alycia de Mesa’s mission is to train and advise the people, organizations and companies who do good in the world with impact and purpose. Her 25-year professional focus has been to help companies, organizations and individual people learn to succeed for impactful and positive outcomes.
As a national and international brand and marketing advisor, she has worked with all sizes of business from Fortune 100 to start-ups as well as nonprofits and social ventures for brand development, integrated and digital marketing strategy, and communications training.
Alycia is a published writer for trade and business news publications and the author of business books Before the Brand and Brand Avatar published through McGraw-Hill (New York) and Palgrave Macmillan (London).
She is currently an instructor of Communications for the ASU School of Sustainability graduate programs in Sustainability Leadership and teaches sustainability storytelling for business executives for the Sustainability Opportunity, a Professional Certificate in Sustainability Strategy from ASU’s School of Sustainability and W. P. Carey School of Business.
Alycia is also an adjunct professor of Marketing and Entrepreneurship for undergraduates at Benedictine University in Mesa and facilitates and mentors social impact entrepreneurs through SEED SPOT Impact Accelerator program in Phoenix.
As an artist, Alycia is a classically-trained harpist who performs improvisational music. She believes in the power of education, arts experiences, inclusivity, and purpose-driven innovation as socio-economic game changers.
Alycia currently serves on the Museum and Cultural Advisory Board for the City of Mesa and is a former board member of Mindfulness First, a non-profit organization focused on secular mindfulness programs and training for socio-emotional wellbeing for students and teachers.
