Ishaq is a development professional who is passionate about addressing social issues related to economic development, gender equality and social entrepreneurship. He has over five years of experience in the nonprofit sector and has worked as Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst and Specialist with USAID-funded projects where he led initiatives to measure the progress of the projects against M&E indicators. He developed M&E frameworks, conducted surveys to measure the outcome and outputs generated as a result of the projects interventions. Ishaq has worked on the projects that focused on supporting micro, small and medium enterprises, accelerating sales and creating jobs in the targeted value chains of Agriculture and Industry sectors of Pakistan. Through these experiences, he developed strong monitoring and evaluation, project management and data analysis skills.
In addition to his work so far, he has a strong passion for human and institutional capacity development initiatives. Ishaq has earned two Masters of Science degrees in Project Management and Applied Statistics. He earned academic distinctions including a Rector’s Award and a Gold Medal. Ishaq learned Japanese martial arts when he was a teen and he loves to practice and keep himself in shape. He likes to play badminton and hangs out with friends on weekends. |
