"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom." Viktor E. Frankl
Tina has lived in several places around the world, but calls Phoenix home. A proud Wildcat, Tina received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona. During her college years, Tina studied abroad in the small Italian town of Orvieto and fell in love with Italy. Tina was able to continue to live in Italy in between school semesters after securing her dream internship in the Political Section of the U.S. Embassy in Rome.
Tina returned to Phoenix to pursue a graduate degree in Social Justice and Human Rights. During this time, Tina spent time in Washington D.C. as an intern at Free the Slaves, where she advocated for human rights issues around the world.
Tina then joined the private sector in international sales and marketing, helping consumer product companies and entrepreneurs scale their businesses globally. Her biggest achievement was helping an Arizona-based company receive the excellent exporter award by the U.S. President.
Tina’s passions lie in helping companies become excellent corporate citizens and putting Phoenix on the map globally. She is heavily involved in civic engagement, economic development and foreign relations activities. Tina is on the Board of Directors of the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations, a member of the Business Relations committee of Phoenix Sister Cities and an Arizona Advisory Committee member of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition.
In her free time, Tina loves to explore Arizona with her border collies Duke and Flynn. Tina is an avid reader and started a book club. Community for Tina means bringing people together around food and culture.
