Congratulations to Trade My Shoe!

Trade My Shoe won the audience vote at the first ever SEED SPOT NEXT DEMO DAY!

Here’s an article featuring one of the founders, Connor Willey.

Brophy College Preparatory senior Connor Willey recently won top honors at a social entrepreneur program by developing an idea to provide single-leg amputees with un-needed single shoes with other amputees worldwide.

The social entrepreneur high school program was provided bySeed Spot, a nonprofit seeking to help further development of social entrepreneurs through sustainable business solutions.

Five teams competed in the inaugural program, according to a press release.

Connor’s team took first place in both the judges and audience categories, which entitles him one-year of office space at Central and Thomas roads and the opportunity to pitch his idea to investors at an upcoming investment convention, the release states.

With several investors already interested, Connor will partner with the city of Phoenix to develop a business for single-leg amputees to share un-needed single shoes with other amputees around the world.

He hopes to partner with The Wounded Warrior Project soon, the release states.
