MEDIA ALERT
In May, SEED SPOT and Univision partnered to search for the next big idea and support local entrepreneurs from the Latino community. With 113 applicants lining up at 6am for the casting call at Univision studios – 20 were selected to participate in a 5-day boot-camp at SEED SPOT from June 1-5.
At the end of the boot-camp on Friday, 3 judges – Councilman Daniel Valenzuela, Univision talent Octavio Pulido, and CEO of eMoneyPool Francisco Cervera (a SEED SPOT alumni) – picked 3 to move forward to participate in the SEED SPOT program that will run this fall and culminate with a final pitch at DEMO DAY on December 10th at the Orpheum Theatre.

Aditi Madane: Commun.ity – With a mission to build friendlier neighborhoods, Commun.ity is building an online marketplace where individuals can request help for the big and small things in life from other people who live in their neighborhood? Need your lawn mowed? Running late from a meeting and need someone to pickup your dog from the groomer? Commun.ity is the platform to post your needs and for your neighborhood to respond with help.
Alternates:In the event one of the top 3 cannot participate in the SEED SPOT Full-Time Program, this ventures will be pulled up to participate.
