Thinking of launching a nonprofit? There are so many things to consider – how does the paperwork happen? How will you raise funds? How will you market your nonprofit? Should this even be a nonprofit? Join Aakriti Agrawal, an MBA in Nonprofit Management and two-time nonprofit founder, to get your questions answered! This session is open-form/office-hours style, so bring your questions, and we can talk through them!

Meet the Speaker

Aakriti Agrawal

Aakriti Agrawal, a self-taught computer programmer, saw the lack of female representation in STEM first-hand and co-founded Girls Code Lincoln, a Nebraska-based grassroots nonprofit bridging the gender gap in technology. Using her nonprofit focused MBA, she is starting her second nonprofit - The Nonprofiting Org, providing entrepreneurial support for nonprofit founders. She works full-time in Data Governance at American Express, and she serves on numerous boards and committees, including for Girl Scouts of USA Overseas, the Ecologik Institute, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Council of Alumni Ambassadors. She was awarded the 2021 Inspire Women’s Founders Award and the 2021 YPG Emerging Leader of the Year Award, has been nominated to the Forbes 30 Under 30 List, and has given a TEDx talk.
