Laura Feinstein works on Kickstarter's Senior Design & Tech team. She mentors and supports creators working within the design and tech space. Kickstarter's Design & Tech team was the 2020 recipient of Cooper Hewitt's Design Visionaries Award. Before working at Kickstarter, Laura was a writer and editor for 15 years, writing on design, technology, and culture for the New York Times, The Guardian, Surface, CityLab at The Atlantic, and VICE, where she briefly worked as EIC of The Creators Project. Through her years of editorial and media experience, she frequently helps creators hone in on messages and expand their vision and offers 1:1 entrepreneurship assistance.
