“Doing my elevator pitch following the formula given to us in the workshop, pitching it to a group, and getting feedback was helpful. I improved my pitch. This is the best version so far!"

Who's the Right Fit?

This program is designed for impact-focused, underrepresented entrepreneurs with early-stage business solutions that generate significant social or environmental benefits.

Full participation from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM is required to participate in this program. All admitted participants will sign a participation agreement between the participant and SEED SPOT that confirms the ability to commit to the entire program.

Impact Focused

Impact-focused ventures are working to solve a social or environmental issue within their community. A venture can also be considered impact-focused if it generates jobs or generational wealth for underrepresented individuals.

Early-Stage Businesses

Early-stage businesses are in the prototyping phase or one to five years from launch. Ideally, participating ventures will have a minimum viable product and have made at least one sale/have one customer.

Under-represented Entrepeneurs

We recognize underrepresentation as the lack of proportional inclusion across various identities, encompassing but not limited to: BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color); individuals who identify as women, transgender, and non-binary; those with diverse abilities; individuals from low- or moderate-income backgrounds; military veterans, active-duty personnel, and military spouses; members of the LGBTQIA+ community; immigrants or first-generation citizens; and individuals residing in rural communities.
