• Pre-seed ventures –have not closed a seed round yet (you can be in the process of fundraising)
• Demonstrated ability to bring their solution to market (at a minimum, you have created a prototype or beta)
• Open to feedback and coaching
• We welcome ALL dreamers from ALL backgrounds. We heavily weigh the ability of an entrepreneur to deliver results for their venture. In other words, <b>we value passion, grit, resilience, and results</b> over credentials and pedigree.

We are glad you asked! We do AND we highly suggest you writing out your answers prior to submitting your application. Here is a link to PDF version for you to download and write in your answers.

• After you submit your application, the SEED SPOT selection committee will evaluate your application using our scoring criteria. Select applicants will advance to a virtual interview round to further share their business and goals. The top 10-15 candidates from the interview round will be admitted into the program. Applicants who are not selected for advancement or admission will be notified by email.

All applications that are submitted before the final deadline will be evaluated based on:

• The entrepreneur’s alignment with SEED SPOT values
• The entrepreneurs passion for solving this program
• The entrepreneurs understanding and ability to articulate the market opportunity**
• Traction to date of the business
• The ability for the business to scale exponentially with it’s impact

Unfortunately SEED SPOT is not able to consider applications submitted after the final deadline or additional information or materials submitted outside of the official Impact Accelerator application.

• By submitting your application on or before the early consideration deadline, you guarantee that you will get an interview with the SEED SPOT admissions team. These interviews will happen via video conference or phone where you will be able to showcase more of yourself to the team.

  Entrepreneurs who submit after the early consideration deadline will still be evaluated for the program but may not receive an interview with the SEED SPOT team.

• The short answer is no, but you will be required to attend all of the sessions in person. We prioritize working with local entrepreneurs for our programs.
• If you do travel (and we have had several alumni move), you will be responsible for all expenses incurred to participate in the program.

• Yes. By signing up for the program you are committing to participating at Demo Day. All entrepreneurs are expected to pitch at the event and it is the only way you will be eligible for up to $15,000 in unrestricted grants (plus it’s a ton fun and great exposure for your business!).

• Impact Accelerator combines best practice guidance, mentorship, unique tools, and the power of community to prepare ventures for scale and is an “all-or-nothing” experience. Part-time participants would miss the true benefit of the program and we would miss their contribution to the collective cohort. If Impact Accelerator doesn’t work for your venture’s schedule, consider attending SEED SPOT’s condensed 2-Day Launch Camp instead!
