What: Seed Spot’s third Demo Day has 12 Arizona-based entrepreneurs given three minutes to share their socially responsible, purpose-driven business plan.

Why: Seed Spot is a Phoenix-based nonprofit incubator that works with social entrepreneurs committed to solving important societal problems. It provides resources, curriculum, mentors, financial modeling, pitch development and capital opportunities for chosen entrepreneurs.
Demo Day is the culmination of the four-month, full-time Seed Spot program. Audience members will get to vote via text message for their favorite venture, which will then receive a $5,000 cash prize. Other awards will also be given out.
Facts: Seed Spot has provided 15,640 hours of mentorship, graduated 34 entrepreneurs, helped secure more than $1 million in capital, created 61 jobs and positively impacted the lives of more than 56,000 people.
