Homeparify

"As a real estate broker with 13 years of experience and as a homeowner, I've always believed that home ownership is the biggest investment most people ever make in their lifetimes. Home ownership can have a very negative impact on communities when people invest without seriously factoring in all of the costs involved. In considering such a momentous investment, every party deserves "full disclosure" and analysis of information. My company, Homeparify, seeks to solve this problem by providing a platform that will gather, analyze, and present this information along with the general physical characteristics of residential properties. By delivering information to all parties we increase: 1) investment knowledge (especially for first time home buyers) 2) better purchase decision making 3) driving efficiencies into residential properties through market based activity versus government mandate and, 4) conservation of natural resources."

I'm working to open an overnight camp in northern AZ as a mental health retreat for youth ages 8-14 that focuses on mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and group therapy mixed with standard camp activities that facilitate growth, friendship, and sense of belonging."

"I'm a purpose-driven, entrepreneurial, passionate, results oriented individual that's fueled by being the orchestrator to bring vision & strategy to life. I am a big picture thinker and am able to quickly synthesize problems to determine how we collaborate to win. I would love to be able to solve the disenfranchisement of young urban children's potential due to being a victim of their environment that tells them they cannot win. I would also like to empower low income individuals to break generational cycles of a poverty mindset by enabling them with the resources to excel and provide a better life for themselves and their families. I am a believer that technology is an enabler to help bring about change to social issues we deal with everyday."

Travel, Teach, Love

"I believe in living authentically that everyone is striving to find their purpose and freedom. I want to be able to give individuals the resources and support to figure out their passions on their own, without having to commit to a regular 9-5 job. My niche goes to teachers who love traveling, travelers who love learning, and everyone in between. The best way to create win-win situations is to go out there in the world, connect with others, support each other, achieve personal and financial freedom while growing as a community through love, education, and travel."

Straight Six Garage

"I've always loved cars. I've always loved coffee. Up until I had the chutzpah to start wrenching on my own cars I had to bring my pride and joy into a shop to have it serviced. You know the image; a grimy waiting room with god knows how old coffee and reruns of Judge Judy. After what feels like a lifetime flipping through year old magazines I get barked at to come to the counter to see a grease smudged printout of all that's wrong with my vehicle. Accurate or not, I agreed to what I came in for and a couple other items I was scared into getting topped off/fixed, feeling fleeced.. That experience always bothered me, and is part of why I decided to start working on my own cars. Sure, I may have solved the issue for myself but what about my sister? Or other "non-car people"? Thus spawned the idea to create a more relaxed and positive auto maintenance experience. I'm going to revamp the dated Auto Shop by offering all the same services (brakes, oil, etc.) but with a cozy coffee shop to boot. Bring your laptop and chill on a plush couch with an Americano while your car is being worked on. It'll be a place for people (gearheads or not) to gather and drink coffee, take their car in, and learn about cars in a welcoming environment. For those who want to wrench on their own car Bays will be available for rental with access to industry quality equipment and tools in a safe space. For those looking to get their hands dirty for the first time classes/seminars will be held to learn basic maintenance and other automobile know how. A simple, obvious fix to a problem every Phoenix driver has!"

"Technology and social impact are powerful when they go hand in hand. I am deeply passionate about solving issues related to education and healthcare through technology. The problems that I dream of solving, for now, are healthcare technology affordability in third world countries and changing the way education is being provided. By changing the way education is being provided, I mean changing/directing the focus towards solving global challenges like plastic accumulation in the sea, sexual violence, climate change and so on."

"We feel that there is a lack of safe, clean, and climate controlled places for people to play with and exercise their dogs. All the municipal dog parks in the greater Phoenix area are outdoors, unattended, and don't maintain high standards of sanitation. Also, as a woman, I do not feel safe going to a municipal dog park when it is dark due to a high transient population."
