Festus is a vocal advocate for youth participation in the mainstream economy, an aspiring author, and an award-winning social entrepreneur with a genuine passion for helping startups/ entrepreneurs unlock their true potential. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Unique Empowerment and Employment Initiative Foundation (a non-profit organization that transforms African youth into opportunities creators, as we empower young people through entrepreneurship education), as well as the Founder and CEO of Central Commerce Group (A multidisciplinary business development consulting agency). He is working towards creating a self-sustaining generation of youth, where young people are opportunities creators.
He holds a Bachelor of Human Resources Management from Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) a certificate in Leadership from Konrad Adenauer Stiftung under Talent Empowerment Programme and a certificate in Civic Leadership from UNISA Graduate School of Business Leadership.
He is a Young African Leaders Initiative- Regional Leadership Center Southern Africa Cohort 19 alumnus, a Konrad Adenauer Stiftung- Talent Empowerment Program Fellow, a YALI network member, a member of Do Box Community (a community of entrepreneurs, a peer-to-peer learning platform, and business incubation program), and he is a member of Global Shapers Community’s Windhoek Hub. He is a 2021 Mandela Washington Fellow. He has attended and completed numerous leadership programs, business management courses, as well as local and international seminars and workshops, quickly adding to his technical expertise as an entrepreneur and youth leader. |
