Astrid has built a career around supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses with a range of resources including small business loans, grants, and building a scalable business model. Astrid is passionate about building inclusive spaces that uplifting the creativity and drive of entrepreneurs of color and queer entrepreneurs.
Prior to joining SEED SPOT, Astrid ran the grant fund and partner programs at IFundWomen, where she awarded over $1M in grants to women entrepreneurs. Astrid has also built community programs for Capital One that support small businesses and innovative communities.
Astrid holds a dual-bachelors degree from Boston University in Economics and International Relations. Astrid is also an early stage angel investor, provides advisory and consulting services to LGBTQ+ and BIPOC entrepreneurs, and founded a community organization that curates art related events for the LGBTQ+ community in her city.
You can find Astrid taking bike rides with her dog or hunting for vintage goodies that she refinishes and sells through her design studio.
