Nakara
Nakara White is an artist and creative entrepreneur from the Twin Cities, Minnesota. With a degree in Business Administration and tons of experience in organizing, curating, and youth work, Nakara is constantly creating new opportunities for herself and others. Her transparency and authenticity are two of her superpowers and have allowed her to connect with youth for over ten years. As the co-founder of SWAGG LLC, she aims to cultivate healing and creativity in Black women and girls through her art in the forms of music, events, and workshops. She created the #deependchallenge workshop and swim initiative in 2019, removing the cultural and emotional barriers connected to swimming for the Black community. She's partnered with the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board and Hope Community in developing curriculum and organizing events that aid in empowering youth of color. Being a part of SEED SPOT in this capacity is an honor and in alignment with her goals to mentor and develop future thought leaders.
