Meet the Speaker

Eduardo Borquez

Eduardo Borquez serves as the Director of Business and Entrepreneur
Engagement at the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Pacific Southwest, Central &
Inland California, where he leads strategic initiatives designed to strengthen
entrepreneur development, elevate business integrity, and advance consumer
trust across Arizona and California. Drawing upon his extensive background in
operations management, strategy, mergers & acquisitions, and international
integration from roles at companies such as Jack In The Box, H&R Block, The
Gap, and 7-Eleven, Eduardo creates programs that empower businesses to
operate ethically and grow sustainably.
His commitment to community and marketplace excellence is further enriched
by his academic experience as a former professor at Grand Canyon University,
where he taught management, strategy, and entrepreneurship. Eduardo holds
an MBA, PhD(c) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and a diploma in
Corporate Law & Contracts from Harvard Law, credentials that inform his
analytical approach to driving organizational growth and fostering a culture of
trust.
Raised in by a single mother, Eduardo brings a personal dedication to uplifting
others through shared opportunities and education. Whether spearheading
initiatives for small business owners or guiding established enterprises through
ethical best practices, he is driven by a vision of a more transparent, inclusive,
and trusted marketplace.
